When should I book my wedding entertainment?

We recommend booking your wedding entertainment as soon as you have your venue confirmed, especially for peak dates like summer weekends and holidays that can book up a year in advance. Just like venues and other suppliers, bands are snapped up quickly and you’ll want to make sure you have your favourite secured.

How do I choose the right act for each part of the day?

We know it can sometimes be overwhelming to choose the right band for your big day! Our expert team is here to help. Just give us a call on 0800 564 2240 or contact us, and we’ll match you with acts that suit your style, vibe, and budget. Think about what music you love, the mood you want to create, and who you’re inviting - we’ll take care of the rest.

Will my act learn our first dance?

Yes! All of our bands offer to learn one special song request as part of your booking - perfect for your first dance, or a song you’d love to hear that’s not already in the band’s repertoire.

How long will the band play for and how long will they be on site?

Our standard booking package includes two hours of live music which is split into sets to suit you and your plans - usually either 2 x 60-minutes or 3 x 40-minutes. Typically, the band will be onsite for seven hours, from 5pm to midnight. Need them earlier or later? No problem - early load-ins and late finishes can be added for an extra fee.

How long does the band need to set up and sound check?

It depends on the band’s size and setup, but as a general guide - a 4-6 piece band will need around 90 minutes to set up and sound check. The band can do this all in one go, or it can be broken down into multiple, short periods of time - but they will need the full 90 minutes to get ready.

Can I book a professional DJ alongside my wedding band?

You can - and it’s a popular choice! While our bands provide a playlist during live sets, many couples prefer the combination of a live band and a professional DJ. Our DJs are highly experienced in complementing the band’s vibe perfectly so that you have a seamless experience all night long.

Can I add live musicians to my DJ booking?

Absolutely. All our DJs offer fantastic live add-ons that bring an awesome twist of live music to your booking. These include saxophone, drums, singers and more! You’ll find these add-ons listed under the ‘Upgrades & Extras’ on each DJs’ profile.

Will the band provide a party playlist in between sets?

They will! Every booking includes a Personalised DJ Playlist for before, during, and after live sets. If you prefer, you can even make the playlist yourself and send it in advance of the booking.

Many bands also offer a Manned DJ Service, where they will personally DJ and take requests between sets. You can find this listed under ‘Upgrades & Extras’ or call on 0800 564 2240 for more details.

Can our band perform acoustic sets for the ceremony or drinks reception?

Absolutely. Many of our bands offer stripped-back acoustic sets that are perfect for earlier parts of the day like your ceremony or drinks reception. This is a great way to create a consistent musical feel throughout your wedding while making the most of your booking. Our venue has a sound limiter, can we still book our wedding band?

Yes, absolutely! All our bands have extensive experience working with sound limiters, and know exactly how to work within a venue’s sound restrictions - often without you or your guests even noticing a thing. If you’re unsure, your Booking Coordinator can talk through the details with you.

Are your bands fully insured and PAT tested?

Yes - all our acts hold full Public Liability Insurance and ensure their equipment is regularly PAT tested. This is a standard requirement for most venues, and we’re happy to provide certificates upon request to keep everything running smoothly.

Do you offer support throughout the booking process?

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on offering a personalised service from start to finish. Unlike most entertainment agencies, you'll have a dedicated Booking Coordinator who will guide you through every step of the planning and event process, ensuring your vision is fully realised.
