Soul & Motown bands in London can be hired from the UK's leading live music agency, Tailored Entertainment. Tailored Entertainment exclusively represents the UK's best Soul & Motown bands and on this website you'll find videos, photos, repertoire and links to band websites so you can find all the information you need to hire the perfect live music for you. When hiring Soul & Motown bands in London with Tailored Entertainment your booking will be secured by a booking contract between you and the act. Standard payment terms are a deposit to secure the booking (usually around 20% of the total fee) with the balance payable 7 days in advance of the event.
Prices start at around £2200 for a professional 4-piece band. Larger line-ups with brass section and multiple voclaists will cost more. The quotes you receive are fully inclusive of travel and standard London congestion/ULEZ charges - parking costs may need to be covered on top. All of our bands are full self-contained with PA, stage lighting and DJ music before and after live sets.
Most Soul & Motown bands will perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets as standard. The Tailored Entertainment roster of live bands all provide a bespoke DJ service before and after live sets, so your whole evening of entertainment is covered.
Most of our London Soul & Motown bands take up to 90 minutes to be fully set up and sound checked. Small line-ups may be a bit quicker whereas large showbands with a lot of production will take longer. Our expert team will ensure a viable plan is in place ahead of your event so you have nothing to worry about on the day.

You’ll find these listed under ‘optional extras’ on the band’s profile. Yes, all of our Soul & Motown bands in London are happy to perform a special request - which is often the first dance or song of the evening. We'll prompt you for this information well in advance of your event to give the act plenty of time to plan and rehearse the performance.
Yes, all of our Soul & Motown bands performing in London come fully self-contained with premium audio and lighting equipment. However, we know many London venues (like The Savoy or The Shard) have specific load-in constraints or strict noise limiters and larger venues like Grosvenor House may have additional requirements. Our team will liaise with you and your venue to ensure the equipment provided fits the event requirements.
This is a fairly common question and unfortunately the answer is often no. Our Soul & Motown bands are professional event bands and bookings tend to be high-end weddings, parties and corporate functions in London that we are unable to invite guests to. Our bands have excellent video footage on their profiles which provide an accurate insight to their live show and you'll also find live video clips on social media.
