“It was epic!! It was such a good night last night and the whole department loved it - there were memories that will go with us to the grave!! Please pass on our thanks to the band, they were phenomenal and really made the evening. They were also really patient with us, especially as our timings went out the window a little bit - so it really was appreciated.”Al Stewart - Corporate Event, Fanhams Hall, Herts

If you’re not quite sure how roaming entertainment works or how to find the perfect act for your event, then we’re here to help. Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions...
Roaming bands in London can be hired from the UK's leading live music agency, Tailored Entertainment. Tailored Entertainment exclusively represents the UK's best wandering acoustic acts and on this website you'll find videos, photos, repertoire and links to band websites so you can find all the information you need. When hiring roaming bands in London with Tailored Entertainment your booking will be secured by a booking contract between you and the act.
Prices start at around £1,350 for a professional 3-piece roaming band. Larger line-ups with sax and/or percussion will cost more. The quotes you receive are fully inclusive of travel and standard London congestion/ULEZ charges.
Our roaming bands will perform 3 x 30-minute or 3 x 40-minute sets as standard. This is perfect for covering a drinks reception or a dinner service.
One of the biggest benefits of hiring a roaming band for a London event is that they are almost always fully acoustic. This means they do not require electricity, wires or a PA system. They can perform on roof terraces, on boats or in garden areas where power is difficult to access. Some will travel with small battery powered amps to enhance the sound.
Yes! This is the beauty of roaming entertainment. They can start outside for the drinks reception and then lead guests inside for dinner. If your venue has multiple spaces (like a boat cruise or a multi-room club), the band can easily follow the flow of the party.
Very little. Unlike a static stage band, a roaming band mingles with the crowd. They don't need a designated 'stage area', making them ideal for intimate London venues, crowded bars or restaurants where floor space is at a premium.
Yes, our roaming bands are happy to perform a special request. However, as they are acoustic, they will need to arrange the song to work without backing tracks or electric instruments. We'll prompt you for this information well in advance to give the act time to rehearse.
This is a fairly common question and unfortunately, the answer is often no. Our roaming bands perform at private weddings and exclusive corporate functions that we cannot invite guests to. However, our bands have excellent video footage on their profiles which provides an accurate insight into their live show.
