Not only did they have a great ensemble that delivered the 'Mumford & Sons' style that we wanted along with an amazing set list of songs old and new, but they really were genuinely brilliant musicians which was shown by the great job they did at rearranging our first dance choice song for their ensemble. They nailed it more so than I could have imagined, to be honest it was so much better than the original I just wish I had a full recording of it! They're really laid back, friendly guys also who responded to any questions quickly in the run up to the wedding. They were also really respectful of the sound limiter in our venue and were careful to watch this all night so we never had a 'pull the plug' issue. All our guest loved the band and had a great time. They performed a really good relaxed acoustic set during the ceremomy and afterwards in the bar area, with some great feedback from guests.
They then played two brilliant sets in the evening - both of which had the dance floor full. Living up to their name they played lots of festival favourites of ours - amongst others, The Strokes, The Coral, Mumford and Sons and of course, The Killers!

“Robs performance was just amazing. His singing was incredible and all of our guests were commenting on how great it was throughout the whole day. He was utterly professional and despite a crazy day of weather and storms, he still played in our outside area for our guests to enjoy. His version of our request song 'Live Forever' for walking out of the ceremony room just made our day, so much so that we asked him to play it again later in the day. It's always tricky when asking someone to play a song when the original means so much but he absolutely nailed it. Due to the rain and wind we decided to move inside to do our speeches. Just to top off the day he went to all the trouble to set up again inside and play for us for the last ten mins before dinner, it was just above and beyond. He really brought our day to life. We couldn't be more grateful.”

“We both wanted to send an absolutely massive thank you to The Wanderland Band. When we were planning our wedding, the most important thing to us was that the day was fun and different from the get-go.... the guys made this happen for us and so much more.

They arrived really early which James and his groomsmen were really pleased about - it really took the pressure off. James had a good chat with them and worked out the best way for them to surprise everyone with the Bare Necessities at the end of our ceremony. They really seemed to care about making it work as best as it could and were so professional from the start.

Their performance was absolutely faultless and more than we ever hoped it would be. The song choices were perfect, they interacted non stop with the guests and created the most fantastic celebration atmosphere - just what we were after. They worked so hard, yet it seemed effortless.

We wanted a few different songs at different stages (the confetti throw/our entrance etc) and these all just happened exactly on queue without us having to do anything.... SO professional. They even announced my dads speech which was perfect.

A massive memory is walking down the drive after having some photos taken listening to our whole wedding party having a singalong to 'Angels'.... we were both beaming.... our wedding was the fun party day we were hoping for. In hindsight, we wish we had booked them ALL day. They were cracking and we definitely hope to be able to book them again for something in the future.

Needless to say, the feedback from our guests has been outstanding. They all loved them and they've been a huge talking point of the entire day ever since!

I have to admit that before the wedding day I was nervous that there wouldn't be enough people on the dance floor and half way though the night, when the band were playing, I was worried that there were too many people on the dance floor!
