“I cannot tell you how AWESOME Hip Shaker were at our wedding. From start to finish their energy and set list had EVERYONE on the dance floor. We were all particularly delighted (and surprised!) when they just started taking our requests in the final set, which led to a pretty rock-heavy end to the evening! It was so much fun and I particularly wanted to highlight how grateful we were for the band's accommodation of our request to have Best Man, Martyn, sing with them for a song. “Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and Hipshaker were amazing and played a huge part in that - they were well worth the wait after we had originally booked them 2 years ago for our COVID affected wedding. The band are all so incredibly talented and played such a varied set list! The band kept everyone dancing all night and we particularly enjoyed the mash-ups - seeing all the wedding guests, including all the parents, go crazy to Faithless was definitely one of the most memorable moments of the day!! Thanks also to everyone at Tailored Entertainment for your help in organising and co-ordinating the day.”

“Both Hipshaker and the whole experience with Tailored has been fantastic from start to finish. A couple of specific call-outs... The team at Tailored have been incredibly responsive throughout the process. They helped me to navigate some of the set-up requirements of the venue with ease, and walked me through the logistical requirements step by step. The day ran smoother because of their preparation. The band were wonderful. Their set was packed with great songs that they nailed and we had a big crowd up and dancing from start to finish, which is exactly what we wanted. One special call out - our first dance was a bit of an off-beat choice and the lyrics were basically awful for a first dance. I had a quick chat with the lead singer about this and he said he'd figure out a way to deal with the lyrics. I'll be honest, I had no idea how he'd handle it but he did so perfectly (with about 60 seconds notice). I REALLY appreciate that - it was a super skilful and professional move and I'm really grateful for it.”

“Id just like to say how happy we were with Hipshaker who played at our party on Saturday night. I had asked for songs to get the party dancing and they certainly did that. The second set in particular was fantastic. From the band's version of the Cha Cha Slide, to a dance off between my daughter and her godfather, a true sight to behold. The band conducted themselves in a very professional manner throughout were extremely polite and discreet particularly when clearing their equipment away at the end, I did not even realise they had left.

They're not just a 'run of the mill' wedding band, you could really tell they'd spent time and effort planning and rehearsing stuff that really works for a wedding of people our age. The songs they did were a perfect mixture & got my guests up dancing! I will certainly be recommending them to as many people as possible.They were discreet in their arrival too, (having been to previous weddings where bands make too much of a big deal). Having chosen to provide my own music between the bands sets, I felt really comfortable and confident that they had control of the playlist - making sure the music was constantly playing. However, having seen them play live music, I would definitely trust that they would also do a great job of playing the right kind of music between sets too.....if I'd known how good they were going to be, I would have let them do this - as I'm a bit of a music snob.
