“We hired Festival Sons and they were incredible! The sound engineer, Ian, came and set up earlier in the day meaning this wasn't done during our wedding, he was very professional and worked hard to suit our ideas and wishes. He helped organise me, by letting me know when the band were ready and when we could do our first dance (I didn't have a clue!). The band sounded amazing and so many of our guests commented on the awesome atmosphere they created. They were very flexible, trying a song they didn't really know for my friends from New Zealand to sing with them, and it sounded as if they had rehearsed it knew it very well. We were running a little behind schedule so the band had to wait a little while before getting set up but they were politely patient and happy to wait. Once they were set up and started playing, the hall transformed and everyone had a blast, even for such a small hall, the music sounded superb. I had a lot of feedback from guests saying how amazing the band was and it really made the night. The disco set was also fantastic and the dance floor was never empty. My only regret was that I was often so busy mingling with guests that I missed out on some of the bands' performances. “Music is a big part of our lives. We go to loads of festival and gigs, and therefore we spent a long time choosing a band that would bring that extra wow factor to our day, and Festival Sons 100% fit the brief. The fact that they offered two styles of sets, one Indie Folk, and one Electric, gave great variation and something for everyone. Their versions of well known tracks were great, and their performance of our first dance song which was perhaps an obscure choice, was perfect. We had amazing comments from our guests, and I think the giant conga line, knees up dancing, and sing alongs showed that everyone had a great time. Some of the girls were also a little bit in love with a couple of the boys! I would recommend Festival Sons, and I'm glad we booked them for our special day. Thank you boys.”

“Both of us and every guest we had were blown away by the band, they were absolutely brilliant!
The first dance song they learnt was performed perfectly, we were really impressed and it brought a lot of extra smiles as we danced to it. Then as soon as they kicked off the first set after the first dance we couldn't believe that everyone jumped straight in to dance! We were a little worried that it may have been a bit early and guests weren't going to be dancing so soon but they proved us wrong!
Hats off to the band as they captured both young and old guests to dance the whole way through the evening.
