Of course! DJ Elliot has access to a wide range of music, so there can be something for everyone!
90 minutes. If you are organising a wedding or event where the evening reception is in the same room as your meal, he will often arrive to set-up while the room is turned around.
At a time to suit your event, standard prices are for 5 hours of live DJ music, any time between 7pm and midnight.
The published guide price is based on me DJing at a venue within 30 miles of my base in Portsmouth. I charge travel costs for venues further than 30 miles, and if your venue is more than a 2 hour drive, I charge a bit extra so I can book accommodation. For an accurate quote please contact Tailored Entertainment with your event date and venue details.
Yes - DJ Elliott offers a Daytime and Evening package where he can provide background music during your drinks reception and/or dinner.
Yes – all included in the price. You won't have to hire any additional equipment in.
Yes, DJ Elliott regularly works at venues with noise limiters. We are happy to contact the venue in advance of the event to make sure we have all the required information to enable us to plan accordingly.
Yes.
Yes, as long as we have three weeks' notice of the song, Elliott will make sure he has this downloaded for you.
DJ Elliott has played in some very small spaces, but ideally a minimum of around 2m x 4m.
2 x 13-amp sockets is fine for our system.
Ideally soft drinks and a hot meal or buffet. However, this is certainly not a deal breaker so if you can’t provide this, just let us know in advance and Elliott can bring food & drink with him.

Harry Stephens - Wedding, Hampshire“We wanted a lot of things for our guests on our wedding day, especially games in the sun, a great choice in food & booze and some entertaining music to dance too. We hadn’t planned anything out the ordinary for our 1st dance so we were relying on the music that followed to get our friends & family up and moving after eating a big meal. We booked a live band that played a selection of upbeat rock pop songs to start, it was a promising start and at least half the guests enjoyed dancing or watching the band. The other half were outside socialising or playing ‘Challenge Alan’ (lawn bowls against the grandad). Half way through the night Elliot took over the music and had the majority of our wedding guests strutting onto the dance floor! Prior to our big day Elliot had been very accommodating of our taste and choice in music but also was more than happy to build playlists and suggest song choices based on his experience as a DJ. We felt reassured that our guests would respond to the set as we’d seen Elliot DJ at a venue previously, everyone was up and dancing. We were insistent on switching the genre of music later in the set to Drum and Bass (pre planned), we were able to chat with Elliot on the decks when we felt the time was right and ask him to change it up. Our friends were in their element, anyone who hadn’t braved the dance floor already was fully immersed in the fun, it was a great end to the night. We would thoroughly recommend Elliot because he was professional, accommodating, well organised and he’s a very good DJ.”
