Can't decide what to have your corporate entertainers play at your next big bash? Don't despair - it can be hard putting a playlist together. But it always helps to pick something eternally popular and Adele would certainly seem to be an excellent choice.
The singer has just been named by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) as the most popular artist in the world last year off the back of the success of her third album, 25, which has thus far enjoyed worldwide sales of more than 15 million.
Hello would be a great song to include on any event soundtrack and no doubt your corporate entertainment would be more than happy to do a rendition of the song. The track was released in October last year and made it to number one in over 30 countries around the world, including the UK, Australia, Italy, France, Germany and the US.
If you don't think Adele would go down well (although we assure you she would), what about the rest of the top ten in the IFPI's rankings? Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, One Direction, Coldplay, Maroon 5, Sam Smith, Drake and The Weeknd also proved to be very popular in 2015.
And should you decide you don't want a dry eye in the house, then including some David Bowie would also be a good idea. Some of his most enduringly popular tracks include Life On Mars, Let's Dance, Starman, Heroes and Space Oddity so think about asking your choice of corporate band to include some of them if possible.
