“We wanted a lot of things for our guests on our wedding day, especially games in the sun, a great choice in food & booze and some entertaining music to dance too. We hadn’t planned anything out the ordinary for our 1st dance so we were relying on the music that followed to get our friends & family up and moving after eating a big meal. We booked a live band that played a selection of upbeat rock pop songs to start, it was a promising start and at least half the guests enjoyed dancing or watching the band. The other half were outside socialising or playing ‘Challenge Alan’ (lawn bowls against the grandad). Half way through the night Elliot took over the music and had the majority of our wedding guests strutting onto the dance floor! Prior to our big day Elliot had been very accommodating of our taste and choice in music but also was more than happy to build playlists and suggest song choices based on his experience as a DJ. We felt reassured that our guests would respond to the set as we’d seen Elliot DJ at a venue previously, everyone was up and dancing. We were insistent on switching the genre of music later in the set to Drum and Bass (pre planned), we were able to chat with Elliot on the decks when we felt the time was right and ask him to change it up. Our friends were in their element, anyone who hadn’t braved the dance floor already was fully immersed in the fun, it was a great end to the night. We would thoroughly recommend Elliot because he was professional, accommodating, well organised and he’s a very good DJ.”
