London Event Venues Perfect for Halloween
Halloween is fast approaching and with the pandemic finally beginning to fade into memory, it’s time for the ultimate Halloween party. Whether you are just gathering a few friends and family or throwing a larger bash, it’s important to set the scene. London is world-renowned for its vast variety of venues – big to small, budget to hugely luxurious, niche, vintage, and everything in between. Below are a few of our top London event venues that are perfect for your Halloween bash:
Located near Brixton Station in Lambeth, the Whirled Cinema offers whole venue hire starting at £300. Its catacomb-style setup and mysterious lighting make it the perfect place to showcase a spooky film or host a live band. It can seat up to 60 guests or you can have a standing reception that’s 70-strong. Either way, it’s the perfect spot for that haunting party you’re dreaming up.
The Lounge Bar in Wandsworth is a little more exclusive at a £500 minimum spend for the venue hire. It’s a fabulous space for a whimsical fairy-themed night as the venue leads straight onto a botanical garden. They even offer bespoke cocktails catered via your own bar and dedicated bartender. It’s a particularly great space for a Halloween party that doubles as an engagement or a special birthday party venue.
Well-known and popular even for weddings, the Asylum has a spooky name and offers a spooky ambiance to boot. Vintage windows and walls make this a stunning space, though it’s pricier at £750+ for the venue hire. With that being said, it is the ideal space to host a stunning Halloween show. If you can afford it, hiring one of the great live bands in London would make this one party your guests won’t soon forget.
Wilton's Music Hall
Reminiscent of the phantom of the opera, this is a stunning space with no natural light filtering in, this one would look incredibly decked out in fairy lights and candles. Located in Graces Alley, near the Jack the Ripper Museum, this venue would make for the ultimate day out and experience for your guests. Wilton’s Music Hall can accommodate up to 250 standing guests, so this is one to consider for a huge Halloween dance. With the right music, this would certainly be one to remember.
Located at the Sugar Cane bar in Wandsworth near Clapham Junction Station, this venue can be booked for £50 minimum spend, making it the budget choice on our list. The bar is Polynesian-themed, making it the perfect choice for a more exotic Halloween evening. It seats up to 35 guests, but can easily accommodate 70 standing.
