So then, you’re in the midst of planning your Yorkshire wedding? Well you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to thinking about locations and suppliers, cause Yorkshire has got some pretty incredible options! You’d be forgiven for feeling a little bit overwhelmed by it all.
Well that’s where we can help. Not content with just providing top notch wedding entertainment, we’ve also learned a thing or two on our travels about whats hot, and whats not. So with that in mind, we went ahead and canvassed some of our busiest Yorkshire wedding bands for a low-down of their favourite locations ands suppliers from this year. The Band! Soul Unit
Where else could we start but with the live entertainment? And it doesn’t come much better than Soul Unit, one of the biggest wedding bands Yorkshire has to offer. They’re a classic soul and Motown revue, but with a refreshingly contemporary twist; meaning they’re perfectly poised to bring a real wow factor to your evening entertainment. The Venue! Broughton Hall Estate
Broughton Hall Estate, just outside of Skipton, is one of our favourite wedding venues in the country. This stunning country estate, nestled amidst the stunning backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales, boasts one of the most splendid country houses you’re likely to find. Their wedding packages are incredibly flexible, too, with multiple venues based on the same property. If you’re after something clean and contemporary, check out Utopia, a medium sized venue designed by Sir Michael Hopkins.
This would also make a great spot for one of our acoustic roaming bands - they’ll wander around amongst your guests playing songs straight to them. It’s a high energy show thats tonnes of fun. Check some of them out right here.
The Food! Bears Pantry
Bears Pantry are one of those rare caterers that are both stylish and delicious in equal measure.
