Christmas party season is well and truly upon us so you should have your Hampshire corporate entertainers all booked and paid for. But this is just one aspect of throwing a successful party – of course, there’s a lot more to it than that.
New research carried out by event booking service Poptop reveals just what party-goers believe would make the perfect shindig for this year, so if you’ve not yet completely organised your event and are looking for inspiration this is the infographic for you!
When it comes to booking venues, 50 per cent would prefer a dedicated venue, while 20 per cent would be happy with a shared party. Just eight per cent wouldn’t mind partying in the office, though, so perhaps avoid this if at all possible.
When questioned about what was most important for a Christmas party, 66 per cent said the venue, 62 per cent said the food, 44 per cent said drinks and 35 said the entertainment.
It might also be worth not setting a dress code for your event, as 79 per cent of those asked admitted that they like to be casual – so perhaps avoid this if you want a nice chilled out affair that everyone can enjoy.
As for ideas for corporate entertainment, 43 per cent said they’d like there to be a live band, while 30 per cent would want a comedian, 35 per cent would like a DJ and 15 per cent would be keen to play a few party games with their colleagues.
