They were very accommodating as to set timings and seemed to adapt easily to the space constraints placed on them in the pub venue. They appeared unfazed by an impromptu performance by a Welsh male voice choir that happened to be performing up the road earlier in the evening!

I was very impressed with the sound levels; somehow they seemed to be plenty loud enough in the dance area and at the same time people sitting a few metres away were able to talk to each other!

“In short. The guys were amazing. We had a ball, An absolute awesome time with them. Our friends and family would regularly grab us between sets and excitedly go into drunken detail about just how great the band were, how brilliant the songs were and so we were pretty chuffed with ourselves. ???? me especially as I chose them. We had so many compliments and I think the biggest compliment was, that even the most reluctant dancers couldn't help but bound around like crazy people as they were enjoying the music and the atmosphere so much! The guys couldn't have been more lovely and adaptable and even helped when we had an unexpected power cut during a set. They interacted with the crowd brilliantly and chatted with us between sets. Our wedding planner was also a fan and couldn't be more complimentary!!! All our friends wanted to book them for future events (not even planned yet) and when we have our tenth anniversary they will be first on our itinary to rebook ???? It was so nice, after a fairly stressful process, to just let off some steam and dance and enjoy ourselves and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere with our friends and family. And it was a pleasure to occasionally take a minute and watch everyone interracting with each other and dancing away with no inhibitions. Thank you so so much. “We wanted to say a giant thank you to Alive. I was wary of booking a band based only on a video but they were even better live. Seems like wedding bands have changed - these lads were so cool our guests thought we'd hired them on some kind of exclusive deal. Their sound and energy made the atmosphere electric and everyone was dancing all night! They were stuck in traffic for hours but were in a good mood all night and they learnt our (little known) first dance tune , including audience participation, based on a you tube video. Seemed like a big ask, but they did it anyway and it sounded great. For anyone looking I would say whatever your budget, the music is make or break so scrimp on the shoes, ditch the favours, do DIY everything, whatever it takes...but book the band! “Well, what can I say. Alive were absolutely AMAZING! From the moment the sound tech Iain arrived to the moment they all left they were nothing but polite, professional and extremely helpful. Even though the weather was rubbish and everyone was inside the venue, the band seem to set up as if by magic, very discreet. I sometimes think it takes a while to get people up on the dancefloor but this certainly was not the case on Saturday. As soon as they started playing the dancefloor was packed. My feet are still hurting! We have had so many comments regarding how good the band were and one of our guests wants to book them for her son’s wedding next year.
