The manic summer schedule is still in full swing for us over at Tailored Towers - we've been sending bands to venues up and down the country this month, but one place really caught our eye on our travels - giving us an idea for this week's blog. Gorgeous Yorkshire!

THE VENUE!
Sending Yorkshire wedding bands to events across the region, we feel like we've got a pretty unique insight into the best wedding venues in Yorkshire. Here's a few of our favourites:
Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales is this stunning Manor House, set in 3,000 acres of pristine gardens. With a rich history stretching back over 900 years, this is a remarkable venue that has played host to many of our most popular bands, including Festival Nights - who played an al fresco gig here last year. Here's what the bride had to say afterwards:

This old train yard has been lovingly renovated into one of the coolest wedding venues we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Perfect for all those happy couples looking to celebrate their big day somewhere a little bit different.
The imposing medieval ramparts of Bolton Castle make for a remarkable setting to get married. Built in 1399, this stunning building is positively overflowing with potential for an unforgettable wedding venue. Not to mention the photos opportunities!
THE FOOD!
We're a big fan of weddings where they offer culinary delights that are a little different from the standard wedding fare; and Yorkshire has some fantastic options for your catering alternative...
It wouldn't be a Yorkshire wedding without an offering of the humble Yorkshire pie. Well no one does pies quite like Pieminster, and they have recently started offering wedding catering options that are enough to get our mouths positively watering!
These guys are a wedding caterers with a difference. They offer delicious food, all of which is locally sourced from independent growers and suppliers. If you're looking to keep your wedding a truly Yorkshire affair, Bears Pantry are perfect for you.
Pizza vans have risen in popularity at weddings over the last year, and The Pizza Guy has to be one of the best out there. Chef Simon Walker brings his mobile pizza van straight to your wedding, served out of his converted Land Rover Defender, Winnie. Seriously cool and seriously delicious, too!
