If you're scratching your head for really, truly fabulous Midlands wedding venues ideas - we're delighted to offer up a few thoughtful suggestions. What with our Midlands wedding bands bands playing at weddings of all shapes and sizes up and down the country, we've managed to cultivated a serious amount of first-hand knowledge of some of the UK's most fabulous wedding venues.
There's some beautiful places to celebrate your wedding day in The Midlands, and here we've provided four of our all-time favourites. However long your guest list happens to be, whether you're looking for a grand ball, an intimate countryside scene or something altogether more edgy, there's something here for you. Let's get started, shall we?
After something unmistakeably special for your big day? This place is perfect. Nestled in the pretty little village of Grantham near Nottingham, Stoke Rochford Hall is a stunning Victorian country manor set in the midst of acres of pristine gardens. The hotel is decorated in a gorgeously lavish old English style, with the sun-room ceremony space providing the ideal romantic setting for your wedding. Our very own Festival Nights played here last summer - their lead singer, Lee, described it as 'one of the most picturesque weddings I've ever played...absolutely stunning!'
Barn-based weddings have become remarkably popular in recent years to occasionally mixed results - getting married in a draft-ridden brick building in the middle of a field certainly isn't for everyone! However, venues like Swallows Nest Barn are the reason we love a barn wedding so much, and this place is one of the best Midlands wedding venues in this style. Just a stones-throw from Warwick castle, Swallows Nest have combined the rustic romanticism of a barn wedding with incredibly tasteful 21st Century design, making for the ideal combination of style and setting. An absolute must-see.
If your looking for something totally unique in striking surroundings, The Bond Company is just the ticket. Set right in the centre of Birmingham's historic industrial quarter, this remarkable venue backs on to The Grand Union Canal, making for a marvellously picturesque place to spend your wedding day. Cobbled walkways and imposing industrial architecture abound in this one-of-a-kind city centre venue. Stanley Park, one of our most popular Birmingham wedding bands played here recently and absolutely loved it - the bride also left them glowing testimonial:
After something completely different? Completely unforgettable? How about spending your wedding day in the UK's oldest operating Cinema? Right in the heart of Birmingham, The Electric Cinema opened its doors in 1909 and has been screening movies ever since. And now, you can get married here! We honestly can't think of a cooler place to perform your nuptials! This has to be Birmingham's coolest wedding venue, by a good distance.
So there you have it. Once you've made your mind up on your venue, why not take a look at some of our Midlands based wedding bands to finish off your evening with a bang? You can call us on 0800 564 2240 to discuss the perfect band for you.
