It’s getting to be that time of year again when everyone’s thoughts turn to the Christmas party. If you’re in charge of organising it and are currently mulling over what Brighton corporate entertainment to arrange, make sure you read our guide to getting your party just right so it’s remembered for years to come.
The majority of people would expect you to throw a sit-down office party but why don’t you do something out of the ordinary? Consider factoring in a group activity such as going to a comedy club or heading out for a paintballing adventure instead of just going to have some dinner and a few drinks.
Who doesn’t love a themed party? If you tell everyone they have to get dressed up, it takes the pressure off deciding what to wear or whether people need to buy something new and fancy for the do. Perhaps make it a 60s theme, or the 70s are really in right now – and you’re sure to get everyone up on the dancefloor if you go with a fun theme.
You want everyone to enjoy themselves so don’t force anyone to participate in something if they don’t want to. Whatever you do, don’t have your party in the same building as where you work. People want to leave the office behind when they’re having fun! And don’t sit people according to their work department. Let them choose where they want to sit so they’re sure to have a great time.
